Children’s Therapy
(Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy)

Personalised therapy tailored to each child’s strengths, needs, and goals.

Children’s Therapy

At Nicole Lavin Neurorehab, we provide physiotherapy and occupational therapy for children and young people who may benefit from additional support with movement, development, coordination, or everyday functional skills.

How We Can Help

Children develop skills at different rates, and some may need additional support to build strength, coordination, or independence in everyday activities. Our therapists provide tailored therapy that focuses on helping each child reach their individual potential.

Therapy may support children with:

• Developing balance, coordination, and movement skills
• Improving strength and posture
• Developing fine motor skills such as writing or using tools
• Building independence in daily routines
• Supporting participation in play, school, and social activities

We help children develop the skills they need for everyday life, from movement and coordination to independence, play, and participation at school or home. Therapy is tailored to each child’s strengths, needs, and goals.

Family-Centred Approach

We work closely with families to understand each child’s strengths, interests, and challenges. Sessions are designed to be supportive and engaging, using meaningful activities that help children develop new skills while building confidence.

Supporting Development Across Environments

Our paediatric physiotherapists and occupational therapists often work closely with other services such as care teams, educational settings and NHS providers. This collaborative approach often means the improvements made within therapy can be translated into other settings such as home and school.
