Bio

Anna is a Highly Specialist Neuro-Vestibular Physiotherapist offering rehabilitation for people with conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injuries and dizziness-balance disorders including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), vestibular neuronitis and vestibular migraine.

Anna graduated as a physiotherapist at King’s College London in 2007 and has since acquired a wealth of experience working in the field of adult physiotherapy within community, outpatient, and acute settings at some of the leading NHS trusts in London.

In 2011 she developed a keen interest in clinical neurology and went on to specialise at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery covering areas such as stroke rehabilitation, neuro-outpatients, critical care rehabilitation, neuro-surgery, community neuro-rehab and hydrotherapy.

In 2013 after participating in an observational study of the prevalence of BPPV in older adults at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, she discovered her aptitude and great interest in vestibular physiotherapy. She went on to complete extensive training and further development in the field of Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT) including the Enhanced VRT Course with Samy Selvanayagam, Vestibular Rehabilitation for Physiotherapists with Amanda Male, Advanced Vestibular Rehab – Challenging Dizziness with Alan Sealy and The Dizzy Course – A Multidisciplinary Approach at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Since moving to Leeds in 2016 Anna has been providing Community Neurological Rehabilitation including Medico-Legal Physiotherapy and Vestibular Rehabilitation to help people with neurological and dizziness-balance disorders return to function and improve their quality of lives. In 2016 Anna trained as a yoga teacher which she now uses as an adjunct to her holistic physiotherapy approach.

Anna finds helping people make progress and achieve their goals immensely satisfying. She is kind and approachable making her clients feel at ease and supported throughout their rehabilitation journey.
