Dexter is a dedicated Neurological Physiotherapist with a passion for helping individuals maximise their recovery, independence, and quality of life through personalised, evidence-based rehabilitation. He is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centred care and works collaboratively with individuals and their families to achieve meaningful goals throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Dexter graduated from the University of Bradford and has over four years of experience working within the NHS, where he developed a broad range of skills as a rotational neurological physiotherapist. During this time, he gained extensive experience supporting patients with a wide variety of neurological conditions and developed a particular interest in Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), vestibular rehabilitation, stroke rehabilitation, Parkinson’s disease, neuro-oncology, and peripheral neurological conditions, including Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP).

Throughout his career, Dexter has worked across a range of inpatient and outpatient neurological services, supporting individuals at different stages of recovery. His experience spans acute, rehabilitation, and community settings, enabling him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the challenges people face following neurological illness or injury. He is passionate about empowering patients to regain confidence, independence, and function through tailored rehabilitation programmes that reflect their individual goals and priorities.

Dexter has undertaken postgraduate training in Vestibular Rehabilitation and has developed specialist expertise in the assessment and treatment of dizziness and balance disorders, including Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD), and other vestibular conditions. He is also trained in Aquatic Therapy and is a valued member of the team’s Hydrotherapy Service, using the therapeutic benefits of water to support rehabilitation and functional recovery.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dexter is committed to improving awareness and support for individuals living with Functional Neurological Disorder. In 2025, he established the first face-to-face FND support group in Leeds, providing a welcoming environment for adults, children, young people, and their families to access education, peer support, and practical guidance. He continues to lead and develop this monthly group, reflecting his commitment to enhancing services beyond traditional clinical settings.

Dexter is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology (ACPIN). He values continuous professional development and remains committed to expanding his knowledge and skills to ensure he delivers the highest standard of neurological rehabilitation.

Outside of work, Dexter enjoys running and cycling, reflecting the active lifestyle and positive approach that he encourages within his rehabilitation practice.
