Nicole is a highly experienced and passionate physiotherapist dedicated to enhancing the rehabilitation journey of her patients through person-centred, evidence-based care. Her commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes is reflected in her compassionate approach and extensive clinical expertise.

Nicole qualified from The University of Bradford in 2004 and began her career within the NHS, undertaking a variety of Junior and Senior rotational roles. She later specialised in Adult Neurological Rehabilitation using a Movement Science Approach and completed an MSc in Neurological Physiotherapy at The University of Nottingham in 2012. Throughout her career, she has worked across both acute and community neurological services and has played a key role in developing stroke rehabilitation services in Leicestershire and West Yorkshire.

Alongside her clinical work, Nicole has a strong passion for education and professional development. In 2016, she completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education and subsequently led undergraduate Neurological Physiotherapy teaching at The University of Bradford for seven years. During this time, she established the UK’s first university-based student supervised Neurological Physiotherapy Clinic, creating valuable learning opportunities for future physiotherapists while expanding access to specialist rehabilitation.

Nicole is the Clinical Director at Nicole Lavin Neurorehab Ltd, and she leads the team of highly specialist Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Apprentice Physiotherapists and Rehabilitation Assistants. She is committed to delivering a first class, personalised service to every patient while actively mentoring, supporting and developing her team to ensure the highest standards of care. Some of the therapy team were Nicole’s students at The University of Bradford.

Nicole is an active member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN) and the Medico Legal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MCLAP). Nicole is also a Neurological Physiotherapy Expert Witness.
